CUT OUT THE DARKNESS 2014

Behance Japan Tokyo Community is collaborating with Panasonic on social project where we bring “Luminary Zoo” as a designed solar lanterns to the people who are living without electricity.
 
The project is called “Cut out the darkness”.
We believe that creative power will become the light for every single lantern, brightening people’s lives, and going beyond the wall of borders and languages.


 
The Indian Peafowl, a truly beautiful creature in which its beauty had been adopted as one of Indonesia's traditional dance.
 
"The Golden Peafowl" celebreates Indonesia's  traditional wood and bone sculpture in which well known for its high level of details and richness in folklore naratives. These traditional craftmen astonishing works are everyday's masterpieces made through dedication and patience.
 
As the Godlen Peafowl spreads its magnificent tail, bursting brigh lights to the night, it showcases a rich mix of Indonesia's traditional ornament pattern, from the island of Java, Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan and more.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

I was born and raised in Indonesia. Everything that I am now, is simply a tree in which the seed was nurtured and grown from where I came from. This project is our chance to contribute and share our knowledge and skills as designers, in attempt to help solve problems through creative solutions.
